In the third quarter of 2024, the horror games genre on iOS in Nigeria showed varied performance across leading titles. According to data from Sensor Tower, these games exhibited distinct trends in downloads, revenue, and user engagement.

Resident Evil 4, published by CAPCOM, saw an interesting revenue trajectory with a peak of approximately $44 in the week of August 19, followed by a decline towards September. Downloads fluctuated, peaking at 29 in late September, while weekly active users grew from 64 at the start of July to 106 by the end of September.

Dead by Daylight Mobile from Behaviour Interactive Inc. maintained a steady revenue stream, averaging around $4 to $6 weekly throughout the quarter. The app experienced a spike in downloads in early July with 95 downloads, gradually decreasing to just 4 by the end of September. The game's active user base remained relatively stable, with a slight increase from 213 to 217 over the quarter.

Mystery Matters by Playrix showed a modest revenue increase mid-quarter, reaching $10 in the week of August 19. Downloads peaked at 29 in September, while active users remained consistent, hovering around the 120 mark.
